Deep Thoughts by Dave

I had dinner out with my dad tonight. And afterward, as we thought about the rest of our evening plans, he said something which will stay with me for the rest of my life:

"If we don't have a first ice cream now, then we can't even think about a second ice cream later."

It seems like there's always one more thing. But given the option of laughing and crying, I'd rather snicker.

I heard a ghost in the Lizzie Borden House. I knit. I went to Paris. I work in the emergency room to try to keep people from breaking. And there's a lizard on my roof.
